What is NADD?
On-chain metrics are sourced directly from the APASS smart contract on BNB Smart Chain. Distributed and reserved supply figures are derived directly from designated APASS wallets. APASS token prices are quoted in Namibia Digital Dollar (NADD), a digital representation of the Namibian Dollar (NAD) on-chain.

What is APASS?
Africa Tourism Pass (APASS) is a blockchain-enabled tourism protocol designed to coordinate, verify, and incentivize tourism activity across multiple markets. It connects travelers, tourism operators, and digital financial infrastructure into a unified ecosystem.
APASS operates through a dual-layer model. The participation layer supports the onboarding of hotels, lodges, guesthouses, campsites, accommodation providers, and other tourism operators at no cost. The incentive layer rewards travelers with APASS Points based on verified tourism activity and enables access to APASS tokens at discounted rates.
APASS tokens are utility-based. They are used to unlock discounts and ecosystem benefits at participating tourism operators. They are not used to pay for accommodation or mobility.

Travelers earn APASS Points from eligible tourism spending with participating hotels, lodges, guesthouses, tour providers, mobility services, and other approved tourism operators.

The current standard base rate is one APASS Point for each equivalent of 1.00 NADD (Namibia Digital Dollar) in eligible, verified tourism spending. Promotional, regional, seasonal, or operator-specific reward rates may apply under defined program terms.
Non-transferable engagement rewards
APASS Points record participation within the rewards program. They are not cash, currency, APASS tokens, or transferable assets and cannot be traded or sold.
Preferential access to APASS tokens
Accumulated points can be applied during defined program windows to access APASS tokens at preferential rates, subject to discount caps, allocation limits, and applicable terms.
Benefits across the tourism journey
APASS token holders can access discounts, preferred offers, and selected benefits made available by participating tourism operators across accommodation, mobility, and tourism experiences, subject to applicable operator terms.

No change to existing payment methods
Travelers continue to pay tourism operators using their usual payment methods. APASS operates alongside existing booking and payment systems as a separate verification and incentive layer.
Low-friction participation
Participating tourism operators can join without replacing their existing booking, payment, or operational systems, and a single onboarding may support multiple properties under the same operator.
Controlled token distribution
APASS tokens made available through rewards-related programs are released from designated treasury or ecosystem allocations under defined authorization, accounting, and distribution controls.
Important distinction
APASS Points and APASS tokens are separate components of the ecosystem. APASS Points are non-transferable rewards used to record and incentivize eligible participation. APASS tokens are transferable BEP-20 digital assets used for access, incentives, and participation within the APASS ecosystem.
Neither APASS Points nor APASS tokens replace accommodation payments, mobility payments, booking systems, national currencies, card networks, mobile payments, or other established financial infrastructure.
APASS Points are subject to eligibility requirements, verification procedures, validity periods, redemption limits, discount caps, allocation controls, merchant participation terms, and other applicable program rules. Reward rates and program conditions may be updated to support operational integrity, economic sustainability, security, and regulatory compliance.
For travelers
Travelers can acquire APASS tokens, add them to BEP-20-compatible wallets, and use APASS to access benefits made available by participating tourism operators.
APASS is also designed to recognize broader tourism activity, including transportation and alternative accommodation, helping travelers benefit across more of the travel journey.

Mobility and Alternative Accommodation
APASS extends beyond traditional accommodation to recognize the full tourism journey, including e-hailing and alternative stay infrastructure.
This includes transportation activity through services such as Yango, Bolt, Uber, airport transfers, and related mobility providers, as well as alternative accommodation platforms including short-term rentals, serviced apartments, and distributed lodging environments.
APASS does not replace how travelers pay for these services. Payments continue through existing systems and platforms as usual. APASS functions as a verification and incentive layer that recognizes qualifying tourism activity across mobility and alternative accommodation.
Verified travel activity across these categories can contribute to APASS Points, strengthening a unified system of incentives across where travelers stay, how they move, and how frequently they travel.

Exchange and Market Access
APASS is publicly available on BNB Smart Chain through the APASS/USDT market on PancakeSwap. This decentralized market provides on-chain settlement, transparent price discovery, and secondary-market access.
Future centralized exchange onboarding will follow a structured and treasury-governed approach. Liquidity deployment, circulating-supply expansion, and exchange integration will be implemented in phases, subject to operational readiness, legal review, liquidity planning, and exchange approval.
